Accurate. Narcissistic parents will also heap an inordinate amount of responsibilities and unrealistic expectations upon their children. Often times, if it is the mother, they will pile this onto their daughters, and expect them to come through or else. If they fail to meet with and exceed these expectations, they are ridiculed and judged. If they do meet them, they are given additional tasks and are still ridiculed and judged. There is no pleasing a narcissist. And unfortunately, it can take a lifetime to learn that hard truth.
