Alas, neither did mine. It is especially frustrating when you are trying to build something together only to find your so-called partner is more like dead weight. He developed this nasty habit of only working when he absolutely had to. The moment HIS bills were paid — not OURS or anything having to do with the extra expenses I took on — he would quit. It became a predicable pattern. I didn’t need him to be rich, I just expected him to pull his share/carry his weight in hopes of building a fruitful life together. I left him after he decided yet again to quit a good job for no reason other than he wanted to stay home and game.
