As a child of a narcissist parent and a negligent one, I agree, this guy is 1. an asshole and 2. Certainly demonstrates some indicative behaviors of a narcissist with his lack of perspective and empathy.

Sure, ground the kid, take away privileges but damn, deleting something he can never get back…Really? You thought that was reasonable punishment for a CHILD oversleeping his alarm? The kid is 9 with nowhere to be. I’m a grown adult woman and I, like others commenting here, sometimes struggle to get up with the alarm. Plus, 7 am during a pandemic, quarantined, nowhere to go, is ridiculously early. Also, children of that age require more sleep than adults.
