flipping bs … college really does seem like more of a business than an avenue of improvement, and they make you struggle every damn inch. I can’t count the number of times I’ve torn someone from FA a new one. I recall having to email 40 pages of documentation arguing why I needed another year of aid after they unceremoniously cut mine for no valid reason. Two weeks later it was reinstated, but the fact that I had followed everything to the letter in the first place only to have it undone, forcing me to redo it & then some pissed me off to no end. It is a game, a business. While I worked very hard for my education and have been repaying my loans regularly, my degrees (science based mind you) are absolutely worthless. Most expensive paper I own. I wish now I had taken on a blue collar trade instead. I would owe less in loans and had a flesh-n-blood skill.
