I just think back to the decades of things I've owned: makeup, makeup tools, creams, oils, cleansers, etc. And how much of it I didn't use or like, but held onto because I hated to waste it (after spending $ on it). Eventually, I stopped buying things like makeup I knew I would never get around to wearing. I recall numerous eye shadow palettes that just went to waste. They were pretty, but I never took the time to bother wearing most of it. Every so often, I'll go through the draws in my bathroom and progressively toss things I know I'll never use again. And I stick with mostly the same regime of products now.
