I love it when the posting will be for a relatively new programming language (for development) and the listing will have some ridiculous number of required years of experience, though it would be impossible to have it. For example, I read an interview once that covered this. One of the guy's who created the language Twitter is based on was once rebuffed from a job because he didn't have enough years of experience in THAT SAME language. He created it for f*s sake. So it shows a glaring lack of insight when job postings are crafted more like a wish list than something based in reality.
