I’m totally guilty of this. I (wrongly) assume when I see posts on various social sites of someone boasting about something they built — calendar, calculator, some marvelous app, that it took them mere hours to throw it together, whereas I struggled with just building a portfolio page because I had only been coding for 2 weeks at the time. It makes me feel horribly inadequate, like I’m just a poser or an imposter.
