I've had partners who have pretty much suggested I sit TF down and shut TF up because they felt the passion I was expressing on a topic about say - a woman's right to wear what she wants or to say no without question - was too much, "too intense." You know telling me how I should adjust my tone. Didn't matter what tone I used. They just didn't want to hear about the injustices women deal with.
