Like those old PSAs when they would tell women how to prevent an assault (use your keys to defend yourself, don’t talk on your phone on the way to your car, always walk with friends, don’t wear your hair in a ponytail, etc…), but I never saw a PSA explaining to men: perhaps approaching a woman as she is getting into her car or as she is jogging is not an invitation for you to get into her personal space and, with some sense of entitlement, assume she is obligated to chitchat. And if she is defensive, because you are a stranger and she may be afraid, do not suddenly become angry or violent and threaten her in some way.
