Nope. I think people who say they are expected to often encumber themselves with that idea; especially those who are younger. I came from a generation that didn’t have cell phones until they were in their 20s + we knew that when people didn’t get back to us RIGHT away it was likely for a good reason. Now, I know teenagers who will take their phones into the bathroom with them (shower, when they are doing their business) just so they don’t miss a call or can jump on a text the second they get it — else, heaven forbid — the person on the other end think they are upset with them. I sleep, shower, and work. I can’t always be on my phone. I think the rest of the world needs to accept that and get over this instant need to reply.
