Not really. Unfortunately, in my experience, I had one particularly difficult client who insisted on having poor-quality images, garish colors, and static content (nothing on the site would be updated content-wise). They didn’t want to share out the site or link it to their own social media or advertise the site. Then this client complained they were getting no traction on the site after 2 days and insisted I do something more about the SEO. I tried to explain it was a local site, for a local service, and their page was not going to hit the first page of Google searches (certainly not after 2 days), and because the content would be static, and to be patient. They were very hard to please, so now I make sure any clients I take on understand what they’re getting into if/when they want a site built.
