Oh, I read the same article. I commented specifically on the section stating “we don’t care if you earn more money than us….” In my experience, every man I made more money than, cared. So much so, that they made a point to make me feel miserable or less-than because of my accomplishments and hard work. Statistically (mentioned in said comment and sourced from All The Rage), marriages, where the woman earns more, are ‘less-happy’ because the couple is having to compensate for her husband’s negative emotions regarding her success. Often, the couple will subconsciously build up his value while undermining hers. She will also take on more of the household and childcare, which, again by the stats, she is usually doing more anyway, in order to somehow make him feel better.
