I had a woman call the restaurant I was working at once to complain that I was too nice to her husband. That's it. Just too nice, in her opinion. Apparently I smiled and was polite. Wow, really? You don't have better things to worry about than how polite a young woman in the service industry is when taking your order? Usually people lose their shit over how rude one is. You were sitting right there and you are so insecure about your own situation, you have to lash out at others for perceived slights you are clearly imagining? Yeesh.
