That’s typically it, right? “It had to be done.” And often times some people are just not willing, even if it may be for the greater good in the long run, to do what is necessary to move forward. Often the sacrifice is just too much for some people. I have some family members who are fearless when it comes to the daily stuff — letting stressful things slide like they are nothing, to the point of annoying others because they just don’t worry — but when it comes to doing something demanding, costly, and risky that needs to be done, look out. They fold like cheap lawn chairs and dive for the sand dunes like ostriches and snivel on about how they can’t handle [anything] it (even when it’s a situation of their own making).
