The same old bullshit of putting the onus on women with anti-rape theater that doesn't really help. Why can't I wear headphones? Like when I take a walk, during the day? Guys get to. Why should I always have to be the hyper-vigilant one?! I've been street harassed when I did all of the supposed 'right things.' But I've found, I'm not the problem. I'm just going along, minding my own business, and I get verbally harassed, sometimes threatened, for daring to exercise my free right to walk down the street, minding my own business, and not wanting to stop to chit-chat. I agree, let us teach the potential perpetrators how to not rape, instead of constantly telling the potential victims how to protect ourselves. Guess what? We already know. Time to flip the script, because putting the responsibility solely on us hasn't changed anything.
