They would have been better off taking that half-mil bribe and investing it into a scholarship program, assisting a few underprivileged students who would actually go to class instead of being preoccupied with just how pretty (and rich and popular) they are. These are the kids who have every door opened for them because of who their parents are, how much money or influence they have, or how they look — it has nothing to do with those mediocre grades. If all she cared about was going to parties, she could have gone to them sans having to worry about class and not go to college at all.
