vs them actually getting to know you and liking you for you.

*sigh* hey, back in the day I wished I had some ethereal-level pulchritude too. Instead, I was just the frumpy one guys thought was an easy mark for sex. Then they'd get upset when they found I wasn't one to put out the way they hoped. But I know, if I had actually been beautiful, it would have been just as bad. Then all I would have been valued for would be my looks, nothing more.
